Mac Suite Session 4: Indesign




Mistakes in this 4 page file prepared from print


1. Bird Image is an RGB


2. Separation colours>Ink Limit> The 'back cover' ink is not printable as it is shown in red



3. PPI is too small. the PPI has to be 300 for print. this is for ALL images prepared for print



4. The tree image's link is missing




5. The actual size of the bird image is too big. Unnecessary size for print




6. This is a 5 color print job but there are 7 colours ( CMYK and 3 spot colours) in the colour separations preview.

go to swatch palette menu> select all of unused colors on the palette. This is to check whether there are extra spot colors you're not actually using.





7. The page background hasn't been fitted into the bleed frame. Sits on the page instead.

8. There's an RGB swatch on the swatch palette. Edit the swatch colour mode to CMYK




To make sure the printers have everything they need to print. Put all fonts, images etc in in a folder....
